Add a couple of drops every 15 minutes to both eyes, cutting back as relief is seen and/or felt. Placing the drops in both eyes even if only one eye seems to be inflamed is important to prevent the spreading to the other eye. I have seen the eye clear up in a day with my children. EW is and herbal combination when made into a tea and placed over the eye as a poultice is soothing. Simply open 2 capsules add to 8 ounces of hot water. Let steep for ten minutes. Take a piece of clean gauze (4x4) saturate it with the tea and place over inflamed eye for soothing relief. Drops of the tea can also be placed in the eye to combat the inflammation. |
